As the story continues, we see several worlds colliding in the lives of Miles, Peter, and MJ. Miles, a student at Brooklyn Visions Academy, sees all of his friends solidifying their plans for college—but he is feeling left out. With the emergence of Miles, who becomes his student and potential successor, Peter has hope for a normal future. Miles, on the other hand, struggles to balance the life of a teenager with the heroic activities of Spider-Man and prepares for college entrance. Mary Jane has taken a job as a reporter at the Daily Bugle, where she encounters mysterious villains and, with the help of friends, overcomes them.
